Role Description
Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. Highway is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support our growing event strategy, both in-person and virtual. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in logistics, enjoys executing high-impact events, and has strong attention to detail. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in organizing conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
Your role:
- Manage logistics for in-person and virtual events, including booth setup, branding, speaker coordination, and on-site execution.
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities, preparing speakers with notes, key messaging, and briefing materials.
- Coordinate event communications, including pre-event promotion, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-ups.
- Develop event content, such as presentations, discussion points, and marketing materials (emails, social media, and landing pages).
- Plan and execute webinars, managing topics, speakers, promotional campaigns, and audience engagement.
- Track event performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Zoom Webinars, HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, and Monday.
- Ability to problem-solve on the fly and ensure a seamless event experience.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
