HiHealthCare is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide essential healthcare services at Maui Community Correctional Center . Position Details:

• Location: On-site at Maui Community Correctional Center
• Commitment: Minimum 3 months, part-time
• Start Date: As soon as possible (preferred)
• Licensing & Certifications:
  • Active HI APRN & RN License with Prescriptive Authority
  • DEA & State Controlled Substance Registration
  • BLS Certification
• Experience: Familiarity with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform health assessments, including routine and urgent care evaluations
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions, including chronic disease management
• Prescribe medications and order necessary laboratory tests
• Work collaboratively with physicians and correctional staff for complex cases
• Provide health education, counseling, and infection control guidance
• Report communicable diseases to the Department of Health as needed
