The Role
Supervises employees who put together component parts to make assemblies, subassemblies, packaging or completed units.
Must Have
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Requires an AA degree plus 8 years of shipbuilding or heavy industry experience or
- A BS in Engineering and 4 years of progressive technical experience in research, Engineering, Design or equivalent or
- A MS in Engineering and professional registration with 2 years of shipbuilding or heavy industry experience or
- A combination of 12 years experience in shipbuilding, military, heavy industry and PM experience experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have min. 3 years as Craft Work Leaderman experience
- Must have 10 plus years of prior supervisory experience
- Must have 2 plus years of PM experience
- Familiar with PM Testing methods
- PM database experience
- Demonstrated basic computer skills are required.
- Ability to inspect confined spaces, stooping, crawling, bending, climbing ladders and stairs when required.
- Able to read a blueprint.
