Who We Are

HII is seeking an Intelligence Analyst 4 to work on a team executing efforts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment at the Joint integrated Training and Tactics Center to support the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) team, at Nellis AFB, NV.


The Analyst will apply their operational knowledge of Air Force intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities and tactics to prepare realistic aircrew training scenarios. Part of a team that provides on-site M&S support for the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC) and Air Combatant Command (ACC); Establish and deliver high-end Advanced Tactics, Training, and Test capability for Government personnel operating under USAFWC/ACC; Provide mission execution and support to broad range of Virtual Test & Training Center (VTTC) simulator activities and Joint Simulation Environment (JSE), including training combat/tactical warfighters, C4ISR/remote sensing capabilities integration and training, and battle-space awareness; Assist Government in expansion of centrally managed capabilities beyond Nellis AFB, providing distributed JITTC training support to other Service/Joint partner facilities, including the Distributed Training Center (DTC), and the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).

What You Will Do

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide operational knowledge of Air Force doctrine, aircraft capabilities, and tactics to ensure realistic fighter training.

  • Provide subject matter expertise during the intelligence functions and ISR planning and execution of JITTC Operational Training events.

  • Support the development, coordination, and integration of intelligence functions and ISR to maximize training.

  • Orchestrate scenarios and constructive inputs for training events.

  • Create and modify mission-planning materials to ensure participants achieve maximum training.

  • Provide constructive and threat generation expertise for operational execution.

  • Provide instructor level expertise to help shape tactical training for participants.

  • Report issues related to stimulation software applications and provide basic trouble shooting support.

  • Supervise small groups of personnel involved in JITTC operations.

What You Must Have

  • Must have 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.

  • Experience with accessing, developing and utilizing multisource intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) products, to include Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) and Air Tasking Orders (ATOs).

  • Experience with and ability to integrate actionable intelligence into mission tasking to build battle plans and tactical scenarios tailored to customer training requirements.

  • Expertise in peer and near-peer threat systems and current adversary tactics.

  • Expertise in Blue Force capabilities across all spectrums of modern warfare, to include but not limited to:

    • 4th and 5th generation aircraft and associated weapons systems.

    • Land-based offensive and defensive systems and their tactics.

    • Sea-based offensive and defensive systems and their tactics.

    • Space and cyber capabilities and their tactics.

  • Current or previous experience as an Instructor or Evaluator.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Active clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and necessary SAP/SAR accesses.

  • Must have ability to work flexible schedule to support customer requirements.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Current or previous DoD TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Previous Air Force or DoD Intelligence Analyst.

  • Air Force Intelligence, ISR or EWO Weapons Officer.

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
