Job Description

This benchmark is intended to be used by companies that have generic classifications engaged in research and / or product development encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines : electronics, electrical, mechanical, and / or chemical. Position m anages the Combat and Armament Systems for technical engineering.

PRESENT

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school of engineering and minimum 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering, and design or equivalent; or a Master of Science degree in Engineering and professional registration with 4 years of relevant experience.

• A Combat and Armament Systems background is preferred on the DDG and LHA design programs.
• Familiarity with the design and construction phases of shipbuilding from concept / contract design through delivery and the engineering processes, products, and tools facilitating and controlling the design throughout those phases.
• Experience in developing estimates and managing budget in accordance with EVMS guidelines.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ARAS, Bluebeam
• Proficient in the wire connection list tool EDP. A
• Must be capable of obtaining a secret level clearance.
