The Role: EFB is currently seeking a dynamic EEC Campus Director to join their team, overseeing the educational and administrative aspects of our preschool programs. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with prior teaching experience, particularly lead teachers, who are eager to transition into a leadership role.
The position offers a unique blend of administrative responsibilities and collaborative engagement within a smaller, close-knit setting, allowing for meaningful contributions to both administrative functions and the overall community. The team consists of both anglophone and francophone-speaking staff, emphasizing the importance of fostering a multicultural and diverse community.

Leadership and Administration:
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $68,000 - $75,000. Salary will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Administration:
- Support the Head of School in the development and growth of the school by setting strategic goals and ensuring their effective implementation.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including staff management with 7-10 direct reports, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among staff members
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs aligned with the school's mission, values and culture.
- Collaborate with the pedagogical coordinator and the teachers to implement innovative and effective teaching methods.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the success of educational initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and multiculturalism within the school community.
- Encourage and support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a cohesive and supportive school environment.
- Take charge of planning, organizing, and overseeing the Summer Camp program.
- Develop engaging and enriching activities that align with the school's educational philosophy.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of camp participants through effective supervision and coordination
- Support the professional growth of teachers and staff through mentorship, training, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in early childhood education.
- EEC Director I or II Certification, or Lead Teacher Certification with the ability to obtain a Director Certification within the first year of employment.
- Previous experience in a leadership or administrative role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusivity, diversity, and a positive school culture.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills.
- Current knowledge of best practices in education.
- Physical ability to handle frequent sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, leaning, and moving.
- Proven ability to maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the curriculum coordinator in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum.
- Ability to travel to other EFB campuses (Watertown and Cambridge) on an as needed basis.
