The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Client Care Specialist to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Cranston, RI. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily service functions and frequent ad hoc requests, escalating issues as needed
- Create, review and edit employee benefit guides, benefit manuals and other client materials as requested
- Participate in market meetings, client functions, industry seminars and training programs as directed
- Maintain client records and update client communications
- Liaison between departments to ensure all customers’ accounts are renewed timely and efficiently
- Completes customer servicing related to new business set up and underwriting applications, and account marketing to carriers
- Maintains current and accurate customer databases files.
- Takes initiative with renewals, customer issues and concerns and proactively provide solutions to deliver timely and effective resolutions to customers
Qualifications:
- Education – High school diploma required; some college level coursework preferred.
- Certification – Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License
- Experience – One to three years of experience.· Excellent oral and written communication skills· Exceptional relationship development skills, interpersonal and time management skills· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Agency Management System experience· Working knowledge and understanding of group benefits/administration
- Other – Travel and overtime may be required to fulfill the requirements of this position.
