Direct Bill Assistant Manager

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious ­­­­­Direct Bill Assistant Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Owns the job completion for region(s) (Represents 75% of revenue and expense)

• Enters statements on occasion

• Support DB Lead on all DB “Lead” responsibilities listed below:

• Reviews downloaded statements to ensure items are completed and posted by staff

• Works with ops staff for issues not able to be handled by the associate

• Ensures manually entered statements are being posted by staff timely

• Gives weekly updates to Assistant Controller/G/L lead

• Strive to have zero balance on the direct bill receivable at month end

• Ensures all receipts are posted by staff timely and there are no lags

• Assists getting logins for carriers if associate unable

• Assists associates with direction to get missing DB statements

• Works to streamline and consolidate all direct bill

• Assist in the handling of on boarding of new agencies into THGx

• Reviews Vertafore carrier listing each quarter for additional carriers to download and works with Admin team to implement

• Assist in identifying any additional training needed for staff

Qualifications:

• College degree in a relevant field (preferred)
• Comfortable working and collaborating in a team environment
• Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player demonstrating collaboration
• Tech-savvy with excellent command of all Microsoft programs (Office, Word, and Excel)
