We’re looking for a Night Local Operations Coordinator to manage overnight dispatch for our Skinner bakery account. In this role, you’ll ensure on-time pickups and deliveries, support and guide local drivers, and keep things running smoothly while most of the world sleeps. You’ll serve as the primary overnight contact—working independently to solve problems, make decisions, and maintain our high standards for safety, productivity, and customer service.

As a Night Local Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in upholding these values each day as you support the Skinner bakery account.
What You’ll Do:
Dispatch and supervise local drivers during overnight operations, maintaining clear communication and high driver productivity. (Requires strong communication, management, and follow-through skills.)
Track and maintain dispatch data in our system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. (Demonstrates attention to detail, organization, and job knowledge.)
Coach drivers on safe and efficient practices, including use of telematics systems and compliance with safety policies.

Process and manage BOLs and trailer information to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with customer specifications.

Coordinate with shop personnel to address equipment issues and proactively manage downtime.

Assign and audit yard checks twice daily, ensuring trailer accuracy and monitoring refrigerated load temperatures.

Communicate with internal teams and external customers to manage trailer pools, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.

Monitor drivers’ Hours of Service and ensure compliance with FMCSA and company policies.

What You Bring
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: 2–4 years of relevant dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience.
Tech Skills: Comfortable navigating Windows OS, Outlook, Excel, Word; experience with TMW or similar dispatch software a plus.
Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
