Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled PreOp/PACU/Circulator to join our team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed nurse with current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and BLS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting or ASC setting.
Responsibilities:
The PreOp/PACU/Circulator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of pre-operative and post-operative care processes.
This includes assessing patients' health status, verifying operative and informed consents, determining the surgeon and procedure being performed, and taking and recording vital statistics.
In the event of post-operative emergencies, the PreOp/PACU/Circulator will perform intervention duties to ensure patient safety.
The successful candidate will also assist with equipment setup and maintenance, serve as a patient advocate, and maintain a sterile field at all times.
