Position Title: Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Manager

Position Overview: The SUD Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating substance use disorder services within our FQHC and CCBHC settings. This role involves program development, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and community outreach to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage SUD treatment programs, ensuring alignment with FQHC and CCBHC guidelines and community needs.
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise SUD counselors and related staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including Medi-Cal and Drug Medi-Cal requirements. Oversee documentation practices, conduct audits, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Patient Care Coordination: Collaborate with primary care providers, mental health clinicians, and external agencies to deliver integrated care. Facilitate case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Community Engagement & Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations, law enforcement, schools, and other stakeholders. Participate in public outreach and advocacy efforts.
- Budget & Grant Management: Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenditures, and manage grant applications/reporting to secure and sustain funding for SUD programs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field (preferred).
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Certification required.
- Knowledge of FQHC and CCBHC models of care, including integrated behavioral health services.
- Familiarity with California SUD regulations, Medi-Cal, and relevant funding streams.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Work Environment: This position operates in a clinical and community setting, with occasional travel for outreach, training, and partnership meetings.
