What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Office Coordinator position at Hill Country OBGYN?
The ideal candidate will have medical office experience and possess excellent communication and computer skills. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, well-organized, and has a genuine interest in helping others. The successful Medical Receptionist will gain valuable experience working in a fast paced medical office where the patient's needs are at the forefront of every decision.
Responsibilities:
- Make appointments; greet patients and family members; enter patient information into Electronic Medical Records system; answer phones, take and relay messages to appropriate parties; provide information to patients and families; handle inquiries from patients and families.
- Verifies patient insurance via Availity/Phreesia upon request
- Provides EXCELLENT customer service to patients and within the organization
- Collects copayments and other balances due to the practice in accordance with company policy
- 1 year of Athena experience preferred
- Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly
- Flexibility to open/close offices and willingness to travel to both Dripping Springs and Brodie Lane locations upon request and notice
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
