Job Description

Hill International is seeking a Civil Engineer in Rosemead, California

Responsibilities

• Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, Scope of Work preparation, progress reporting, technical activities, scope alternative analysis, and troubleshooting for engineering of major capital projects
• Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost
• Plans, schedules, and budgets resources for projects
• Reviews and evaluates technical project documents to identify gaps, errors, or areas for improvement
• Leads resolution of technical conflicts; exercises judgment and discretion to advise and recommend courses of action
• Responsible for QA of design and engineering outputs for internal and external resources
• Knowledge of Project Management principles
• Proactive approach to project management
• Basic knowledge of project scheduling
• Ability to adapt and reprioritize on a day-to-day basis depending on new or existing challenges that may arise
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or Geotechnical preferred)
• 5 years’ experience
• Professional Engineer in the state of California preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
• Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Hybrid / remote work schedule
  
  

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$135,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
