Hill is seeking a Lead Project Manager to support a Rail and Transit Agency in Northern Virginia
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the clients internal staff and external stakeholders to oversee, manage and report on various Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects, during design, procurement and construction phases
- Client interface, reporting, and overall management of deliverables is a primary function. This includes being at the Agency’s Alexandria office at least 2 days/week
- As an integral part of the Agency’s staff, the Project Manager will be expected to attend set meetings with the Agency’s internal and external stakeholders. This would also include local visits to construction sites as needed to keep abreast of progress, issues, and scheduled milestones.
- Tracking and Reporting on the PMC deliverables, task order status, and overall actions.
- Liaison with PMC staff to include constructability and design managers, Cost Estimators, Schedulers, Risk Managers, and Program Executives. Some of these roles are through sub-contracts.
- Providing level of effort and scope estimation for PMC task order proposals
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or related fields
- Industry credentials (PMP, CCM, etc.) is preferred
- 15 years experience, with Rail, Transit, Transportation, or similar CIP programs
- Excellent project management, communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage, track and report on multiple projects at various project stages
