We have an immediate opening for a Front Desk Coordinator at our Lake St. Louis, MO location, who will be responsible for providing the highest level of communication and service to all of our patients, surgeons, affiliate staff, managers, and colleagues.
Job responsibilities include:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting copays
- Balancing daily payment log
- Verifying medical and vision plan insurance benefits
- Obtaining referrals
- Prepping charts
- Scanning and filing medical records
- Accurately process end-of-day payment logs
- Must be well organized and have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Have excellent computer skills
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and team members.
- Must uphold to the highest ethical principles of maintaining confidentiality and other performance standards.
Requirements
- Strong hospitality skills and patient care focus
- Able to multi task and work well under pressure
- Detailed oriented
- Previous front desk / back office experience in a medical practice
- Previous medical/healthcare experience with Billing awareness is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
