What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Administrator position at Hillcrest Family Services?
Your Responsibilities
As the Assistant Administrator, you will assist with daily operations of the RCF/PMI facility in collaboration of the Administrator. The Assistant Administrator will supervise all Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff along with coordinating staff training and scheduling. Assistant Administrator will help implement brain health groups to meet client care plans. Additional duties include:
- Direct supervision of DSP staff to ensure a safe environment of all staff and clients. Assist with supervision of other staff when needed.
- Complete corrective actions, evaluations, and documentation for DSP staff in Paycom and collaborate with Human Resources.
- Assist with recruitment and retention (Interviewing, reviewing applications, ect.).
- Create and maintain daily DSP staffing schedule
- Communicate with Hillcrest Support to gain/cut access to any Hillcrest equipment.
- Organize and facilitate monthly DSP mandatory staff meetings.
- Communicate with staff and send out Teams meetings for monthly in-service.
- Collaborate with HR for compliance with all mandatory staff training.
- Manage and approve all DSP timecards and time off requests.
- Audit resident charts and educate staff on appropriate documentation
- Communicate and attend meetings with all affiliated outside entities
- Attend necessary meetings and committees regarding RCF/PMI (clients discharges/admissions/concerns ect.).
- Be educated on codes that govern the RCF/PMI.
- Assist with Department of Inspections and Appeals during audits and maintain compliance of DIA codes. Assist in writing a plan of corrections when needed.
- Maintain compliance by updating and or creating policies and procedures specific to the RCF/PMI programming.
- Maintain compliance and training of DSP charting, incident reports, and scheduling apps.
- Provide floor coverage when needed.
- Participates in an on-call rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need
- Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field
- Two years of experience in Human Services
- Two years of experience in a supervisory role
