Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant
Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Home Care team in Lincoln, NE! This position is full-time.
A PT/PTA enhances the lives of individuals by utilizing their assessment and evaluative skills to determine an appropriate physical therapy plan using evidence-based treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.

What does a day in the life look like?

• Completes evaluations for referred individuals, utilizes appropriate tests and measures establishing a timely plan of care in compliance with departmental standards and federal and state regulations.
• Completes patient treatments efficiently in accordance with plan of care progressing patient as appropriate to achieve established goals.
• Completes accurate charging of services and provides documentation to support the charges and provision of the therapy services.
• Manages each patient’s plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed.
• Supervises, collaborates, and delegates appropriate care to assistants, techs, and other support personnel per federal and state regulations.

What should I have to be considered?

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program required.
• At least two years of experience performing physical therapy in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, home care or similar setting preferred.
• Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a PT/PTA.
• BLS certification by the AHA required.
