- Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital located in south Tulsa. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Hillcrest South is the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma. It has the only accredited RN residency program in the Tulsa community through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Its cardiovascular service line has more accreditations through the American College of Cardiology (ACC) than any hospital in the state of Oklahoma. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.
Responsibilities
The Nurse Externship at Hillcrest Hospital South allows nursing students to work side-by-side with RNs and other licensed professionals. You can explore different types of nursing from Acute Inpatient to Critical Care. You will gain valuable clinical experience designed to assist with the transition from student to professional nurse. Qualifications
Job Requirements:To be considered for the Summer program you must:
- Students must be enrolled in an ACEN or CCNE accredited RN program and be in good academic standing
- Have a grade point average of 3.0 or above
- Be enrolled in the last two semesters of an accredited RN program
