Hillman Engineering is looking for a full-time in-house Assistant Project Manager. Hillman Engineering is the largest South Florida family-owned Engineering Firm. We have over 25 years of experience in Forensic Engineering. We are a company known for breathing new life and structural strength into older structures throughout Florida. Hillman Engineering has an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager.
This position is for a candidate who is experienced in construction or engineering as an Assistant Project Manager. The candidate must possess the following :
- Applicants will only be considered who currently reside in South Florida.
- Degree in either Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Provide initial construction budgets for analysis and provide periodic budget updates and progress reports for each project.
- Knowledge of a variety of construction standards, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, accurately, on schedule, and with a high degree of quality.
- Have exceptional communication and organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, team environment.
- Experience in procuring city permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Work with engineers to formalize construction documents and blueprints.
- Knowledge of bidding processes, receive qualified bids, and prepare bid packages.
- Provide project management assistance throughout the construction process, including problem resolution and dealing with the day-to-day issues of the construction process.
- Process RFI’s, Change Orders, and Pay Apps.
- Maintain project schedule timelines.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with contractors and other related parties.
Qualifications :
Pay : $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
