Job Responsibilities
The Laboratory Analyst will perform various duties, including:
- Following proper QA/QC procedures for all types of analysis.
- Conducting tests and analyzing samples in a laboratory setting.
- Analyzing and recording data related to test method results.
- Maintaining accreditation with Federal and State agencies.
- Cleaning and calibrating equipment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a science-related field.
- 1-2 years' experience with PCM & PLM sample prep and analysis.
- 1-2 years' experience using a TEM microscope for asbestos analysis.
- Fungal Spore Analysis and Combustion By-Product analysis experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Mastery of the English language – written and spoken.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
