What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Coordinator position at Hillsboro Aero Academy?
Hillsboro Aero Academy is seeking an energetic individual to join our flight school staff at our Redmond, Oregon campus. This part-time position will be part of our Student Success Services department and will work closely with both school staff members and students from around the world. This job requires flexibility and the ability to work independently. A successful applicant will also have the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff of diverse backgrounds. Effective organization and accurate record keeping will be essential to the success of this position.
Job Duties:
Providing daily oversight of the Student and Employee Housing programs. These duties may include the following:
- Cleaning apartments after they are vacated.
- Scrubbing bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms.
- Shampooing carpets and floor care.
- Painting.
- Repairing and installing various household items, like A\C units, smoke detectors batteries and air filters.
- Setting up apartments with appropriate supplies, as instructed.
- Assisting with student communication.
- Assisting with new student airport pickups.
- Other duties as assigned by school management.
Required Skills/Experience:
- We are looking for a person with excellent customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with people from around the world. Attention to detail, natural organizational skills and the ability to multi-task & work independently are a must.
- Intermediate knowledge of Household maintenance is necessary.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Applicants must hold a valid, unrestricted US driver's license, and have reliable transportation. Must be comfortable driving\learn to drive the company cargo van as needed.

- Experience with similar work
Additional Info:
- Flexible work hours averaging 10-20 hours per week
- Must be willing to block off time in Talon and be available 2 days of morning and 2 afternoons per week.
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required
