We have an immediate opening for a Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator.

Housing Works is Central Oregon’s Regional Public Housing Authority serving Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson County. This is a full time hourly that includes a robust benefits package.

Position Role: The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Coordinator administers and promotes programs and resources to help clients achieve employment and reduce reliance on public assistance, following HUD regulations and Housing Works policies. They support clients in setting goals, creating action plans, and accessing resources like savings accounts, credit improvement, and career development. This role requires providing coaching, mentoring, and case management with emotional intelligence, while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements: An associate or bachelor’s degree in social services, human services, psychology, counseling, business or related field preferred or a minimum of two years of any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred, but not required.

Pay Range: $24.00 to $27.00, an hour based on experience.Benefits include health, dental, vision, PERS, PTO, paid Federal holidays and MORE!
