SPECIAL EDUCATION ASSISTANT Report to Special Education Director/Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS Ability To Work With Special Needs Students.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to: Work with students with disabilities, in the classroom or resource room. Have a good communication skills. Be able to interpret teachers information into appropriate context for students understanding. Willing to attend classes related to assignment Supervise free time/recess as directed. Takes all reasonable precautions to provide for the health and safety of the students and to protect equipment, materials and facilities. Immediately report information regarding abuse of any kind to the appropriate administrator or social service agency. Be responsible for district keys as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Work day, wages and benefits as per OSEA contract. Obtain a criminal history background and fingerprint check. Obtain a First Aid and CPR card.
