Help Wanted – Bookkeeper for Oil & Gas Industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage financial records accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and reconcile financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process bi-weekly payroll including tax payments, worker’s compensation payments and payments to 401K.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Process quarterly tax reports.
- Tracking asset purchases and disposals.
- Administer and track employee health plans including enrollments, benefits and deductions.
- Managing insurance verification for subcontractors.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Participate in audits as required.
- Customer billing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior bookkeeping experience and proficiency with QuickBooks desktop required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
