Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Office Manager to handle a variety of administrative and bookkeeping tasks. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, time management skills, and customer service acumen. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a combination of bookkeeping expertise, excellent numeracy, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate financial records and keep customer files up to date.
· Regularly create and manage customer invoices.
· Import time records into payroll software daily.
· Enter vendor bills and manage accounts payable/receivable.
· Write and send email correspondence, memos, and letters.
· Prepare estimates, contracts, and fill out forms as needed.
· Maintain inventory records and manage office supplies.
· Perform general office duties such as answering phones, operating office equipment, and working professionally with clients.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
· QuickBooks experience is required (QuickBooks payroll and withholding experience is a plus).
· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Organizational skills and ability to multitask.
· College degree in a business-related field and/or 2-3 years of office experience is preferred.
Note: Job duties will vary over time based on organizational needs.
