Quality Manager

Job Summary:

Duties include management of all quality employees, scheduling of all personnel reporting to you to adequately cover all shifts, interaction with customer service for resolution of customer needs, creating and submitting quality documents to customers.

Quality supervisor to have complete responsibility for all quality records including PPAP submissions and part history records. Duties to include enforcement and support of all company policies and procedures as set forth in the employee manual and quality manual.

Summary of Primary Job Functions:

• Training and management of quality inspectors, cell inspectors and counter personnel. This includes skill assessments and documented audits of personnel. This activity is not to be performed by a delegate.
• Inspection, measurement, and testing of all product
• Preparation and submittal of all 8D documentation in response to customer complaints
• Preparation and submittal of all PPAP documentation as required by customer
• Maintenance of internal CAR’s and inspection records
• Maintenance of inspection equipment
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement

• Lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds
• Frequent bending, kneeling and reaching
• Use of inspection equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 – 45.00 per week
