Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment and be proficient in using power operated tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of plant equipment, including conveyors
- Routine maintenance as scheduled for all equipment
- Diagnostics and minor/major repair work
- Electric work, including replacing lights, fixtures, and outlets
- Cutting, torching, and welding as necessary
- Operating and moving heavy equipment
- Fabricating parts from blueprints and/or hand measurements
Requirements
- Experience with heavy equipment preferred
- Proficiency with power operated tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and forklifts
- Ability to perform repetitive fine motor control tasks
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions
