Position Overview :
The HR Specialist will manage human resources practices and processes for our communities. You will be the go-to person for all employee-related matters, ensuring that policies, procedures, and employee relations are aligned with the company's goals. Your role will be integral in ensuring compliance with legal requirements and driving the success of our business through effective human resource management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee staffing and on-boarding processes, ensuring smooth and effective new hire integration
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives
- Track employee performance and manage the performance appraisal system
- Handle workers' compensation (WC) claims and audits
- Manage termination policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all laws
- Address employee grievances and mediate any conflicts between management and staff
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment
- Manage employee benefits coordination and assist with enrollment
- Develop and maintain the company’s HR handbook
- Provide management with HR metrics and support decision-making
- Assess training needs and oversee the development and implementation of training programs
- Ensure legal compliance across HR policies and procedures, including NJ, NY, and SC laws
- Foster leadership development across teams
