This position is responsible for supervising the caregivers in the community including care coordination and organization of daily tasks for Resident Assistants and QMAPs. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for care coordination and daily tasks for resident assistants and QMAPs to ensure residents’ needs are met
- Provides supervision to resident assistants and QMAP’s including monitoring job performance, assisting with performance evaluations, coaching and training
- Coordinates training and education of resident care staff on an ongoing basis
- Completes clinical schedules to ensure proper coverage to meet residents’ needs
- Monitors staff in administration of medication, and conducts frequent audits of medication sheets
- Assists the Health Services Director in medication management, including administering medication, ordering medication from the pharmacy, and maintaining records
- Communicates with families regarding residents’ needs
- Assists in monitoring department budget, equipment, and supplies
- Assists marketing in tours
- Required to share manager on call duties
Qualifications:
- QMAP certification
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership position
- 2 years' experience working in assisted living and memory care
- Ability to deal tactfully with team members, residents, family members, and visitors
- Effective and professional communication skills
- Ability to switch between tasks as required, and able to complete tasks efficiently
- Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed
Pay:
$26.00-$28.00 an hour based on experience
