Hilltop Residential is seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Investment Intern who will join our growing Corporate team for the Summer to assist in managing a growing portfolio of multi-family properties. The internship provides the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of real estate investment professionals and work on both investment analysis and investment management.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Hilltop Residential is a fast-growing real estate investment firm that sources, acquires and renovates multi-family properties located in the southern United States. Hilltop owns and operates $3.5 billion of multifamily assets across major markets in the southeastern United States (35 assets / 10,000 units).

Job Responsibilities
Working with the Investment Analysis Team:
o Assisting in the evaluation of properties in our financial model
o Assisting the team make assumptions by canvasing the competing properties
o Assisting the team with property due diligence
Working with the Fund Management Team:
o Assisting the team prepare for presentations with investors
o Assisting the team with quarterly fund analysis
Working with the Asset Management Team:
o Assisting with logistics for property improvement projects
o Assisting the projects team get bids and correspond with contractors
o Assisting with asset management reporting to investors
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably a business or finance concentration
- Rising Junior or Senior
- Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office Suite programs
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task on multiple projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach
This position is in-office located at 9651 Katy Freeway, Houston TX 77024. The term of the internship will be 6-8 weeks, depending on availability, with a start date in June 2024.
