Our mission informs every aspect of our teaching and learning. We are currently seeking a part-time (.5 FTE) School Psychologist who shares this vision and is excited to contribute to a vibrant, child-centered, and collaborative school community.
Position Overview
The School Psychologist is a key member of the Student Services team, supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being. The School Psychologist collaborates with educators, families, and related service providers to identify and address barriers to learning, conducts psychological assessments, contributes to special education eligibility determinations, and supports school-wide social-emotional learning and mental health efforts.
The anticipated start date for this position is August 20, 2025.
We are seeking a compassionate and flexible professional with strong collaboration and communication skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to equity and inclusion in all aspects of student support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in School Psychology or a related field
Experience working with children in K–8 educational settings
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a school-based setting
Current MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license as a School Psychologist
Strong knowledge of special education laws and the IEP process
Experience administering and interpreting a wide range of psychological and educational assessments
Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), social-emotional learning frameworks, and trauma-informed practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations as part of the special education eligibility process
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and determine student needs
Participate in IEP meetings and support development of appropriate services, accommodations, and goals
Support school teams in implementing Tier 1, 2, and 3 interventions
Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding behavioral, academic, and emotional supports
Offer short-term counseling or crisis intervention as appropriate
Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate through participation in student support planning and school-wide initiatives

Maintain appropriate licensure and compliance with all regulatory standards
Collaborate with families and outside providers as appropriate
