- Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.
- Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date.
- Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.
- General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units.
- 2-10 years experience
- Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
- 12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.
- No guarantee of hours.
- Floating to other units/departments: Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
- Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.: Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15
- Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4
- Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves
- Dress Code: Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs
- Orientation time provided for each unit
