ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented individual to support our clients as they grow and scale their businesses! You may be working with breweries, business coaches, construction companies, distributors, or promotional product companies and will be a contributing member of these budding organizations.
Your day-to-day responsibilities :
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Cash management
- Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Financial reporting
- Chart of account maintenance
- Month-end closing
- Sales tax reporting
- Payroll management
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
2-year degree in accounting or equivalent work experience3 years of Quickbooks Online experience or equivalentSolid understanding of cash application, processing, and reconciliation of accountsProven working knowledge of general accounting principles and accounting systemsDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and written to internal and external customersProven financial acumen and analytical mindset with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projectionsAbility to perform accurate mathematical calculations sufficient to compare and verify data to locate errorsAbility to interpret and analyze reports and banking records sufficient to resolve problemsStrong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and qualityProven problem solver who can successfully and efficiently identify and solve problems by gathering and analyzing information and recommending alternative solutionsAbility to work independently and prioritize duties with a strong sense of urgency; self-directed to accomplish assignments and meet deadlinesAbility to work well under pressure, successfully navigate ambiguity and succeed in rapidly changing; fast-paced, often unpredictable environment with competing prioritiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and consistently take a positive and professional approach.This is a salaried position with a hybrid working model. Roughly 50-75% of the time you will be meeting clients at their offices and working closely with their teams to execute accounting tasks.
The ideal candidate is located in the southwest metro (Bloomington, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Shakopee, Richfield, etc.)
