Job Summary:
The supervisor will manage and assist the housekeeping team (Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants, and Housepersons) to ensure all cleaning tasks in guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces meet Driftwood’s cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect VIP rooms, guest rooms, and corridors for cleanliness.
Train and oversee room attendants and housepersons, ensuring tasks are completed during the shift.
Keep carts, linen, and supply closets neat and stocked.
Report any maintenance issues.
Handle special guest requests like extra towels or pillows.
Check all rooms (vacant, ready, or stay-over) and report any issues.
Identify showrooms for Sales.
Handle lost and found items and guest room keys.
Follow safety and security procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
Ensure team members maintain a neat appearance.
Help other housekeeping staff as needed.
Qualifications:
High school education preferred.
1 year of supervisory experience or 2 year of housekeeping experience.
Ability to read and write basic English.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to give clear direction and meet deadlines.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and stand or walk for extended periods.
Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
