What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Preparation Specialist position at Hilton Garden Inn Aiken?
Responsibilities:
- Set up equipment and prepares food based on the business forecast and catering contracts
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, cold and hot food entrees and other prepared foods according to portion and quality standards specified in recipes
- Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation and special handling instructions
- Ensure attractive presentation of all food and beverage products
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing of all food and beverage related product, as requested
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and banquet staff with catering events
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and complete all closing duties
- Assist bartender/servers as needed

- Two or more years of line cook experience

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
