Summary
We are seeking an Evening Laundry Attendant/Houseperson to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our linens and hotel public areas, contributing directly to our guests' comfort and satisfaction.
Evening Shift
Wednesday thru Sunday: 4:00P-9:00P
Laundry Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and guest clothing according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to management.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies.
Laundry Requirements
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Restock linen storage closets for next day
Public Area Responsibilities
The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces within the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other guest-facing areas. This position ensures that all areas are kept in excellent condition to enhance the guest experience.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms.
- Ensure all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures are free of dust, debris, and fingerprints.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of entranceways, glass doors, and windows.
- Restock restroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Assist in keeping the hotel's exterior areas clean, including sidewalks and entryways.
- Deliver towels/linens to guest rooms
