The Hilton Garden Inn is looking to build a team of Banquet Servers. As an On-Call Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional event experiences for our guests. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or social gathering, your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent service will leave a lasting impression.
You will assist with setting up banquet spaces, serving food and beverages, and ensuring seamless event operations. Your proactive approach and ability to adapt to varying schedules make you a key part of our dynamic Food & Beverage team.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Setup and Breakdown: Prepare banquet areas with proper table settings, décor, and equipment; assist in tearing down and cleaning up after events.
- Food and Beverage Service: Serve meals and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Guest Interaction: Engage warmly with guests, addressing their needs and inquiries professionally.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with other team members to deliver a seamless event experience.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep event spaces, back-of-house areas, and serving equipment clean and organized.
- Follow Standards: Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and service standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred.
- Certifications: Obtain a alcohol servers permit and food handers permit.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand or walk for long periods, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Professional Appearance: Adherence to the dress code, including limits on visible tattoos, piercings, and unnatural hair colors.
