Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities: - Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors - Make beds and change linens - Replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairways - Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor - Adhere to health and safety regulations Requirements: - Previous experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is preferred - Knowledge of custodial practices and housekeeping management techniques is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently - Ability to handle physical workload including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods - Familiarity with floor care techniques is an advantage - Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.
