Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Assist with the bussing of tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide accurate information to guests.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling techniques at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during events.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent guest services throughout the event.
- Assist in the breakdown of banquet setups after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and handling procedures is a plus.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering services is beneficial.
- Skills in bartending or coffee service are advantageous for enhancing guest experiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
