Job Summary
The Dual Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in leading the daily operations of the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This includes overseeing guest service, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, food and beverage, accounting, and human resources. The AGM helps implement Hilton brand service strategies and property-wide initiatives to meet and exceed guest expectations, ensuring brand consistency across both properties.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Management
- Support daily operations across both brands, maintaining Hilton brand standards.
- Administer reports, analyze performance metrics, and communicate effectively with stakeholders including Hilton corporate, ownership, and associates.
- Ensure consistent execution of SOPs and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee accounting functions (payables, receivables, payroll, banking) and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure operational readiness across both properties.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
Leadership & Team Management
- Act as a visible and accessible leader across both properties.
- Promote a team-focused culture, inspiring associates with a high level of professionalism, positivity, and accountability.
- Assist with recruitment, training, performance reviews, and associate relations.
- Ensure all associates are trained on Hilton brand standards, safety, and emergency protocols.
- Drive associate engagement by hosting regular meetings, providing coaching, and promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace.
Guest Service Excellence
- Champion Hilton’s commitment to hospitality by fostering a guest-centric culture.
- Be readily available and responsive to guest needs and concerns.
- Guide associates in anticipating guest needs and delivering memorable experiences.
- Analyze service trends and develop action plans to enhance guest satisfaction across both brands.
- Monitor and respond to Hilton SALT scores, ensuring continuous improvement.
Brand Compliance & Property Standards
- Ensure adherence to Hilton brand guidelines for both Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites.
- Support preparation and success of all Hilton QA inspections.
- Coordinate with department leaders to uphold cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property.
Other Responsibilities
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- Represent the property in the General Manager’s absence as needed.
Requirements
- Proven hotel operations experience, preferably within the Hilton family of brands.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience in a multi-departmental or dual-branded setting preferred.
- Working knowledge of Hilton systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to perform job-related tasks (bending, lifting, stair climbing).
