Qualifications:
- Experience in a housekeeping management role or a similar position.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams.
- Experience in budget management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and guest interaction.
- Proficient with hotel management software and operational systems.
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness regulations.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and coordinate the cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting/conference rooms, ensuring readiness for guest use.
- Focus on both delivering outstanding guest experiences and achieving financial profitability through effective department management.
- Lead and participate in departmental meetings to evaluate performance, implement policies, and discuss operational improvements.
- Supervise team members, conduct performance evaluations, provide guidance, and recognize exceptional contributions.
- Implement quality assurance measures, including routine room inspections, to ensure that cleanliness and service standards are consistently met.
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and training of housekeeping staff to ensure a well-prepared team focused on delivering excellent service.
- Foster a positive work culture based on teamwork, integrity, and ownership, aligned with the hotel’s mission and core values.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts to ensure resource allocation is optimized and financial goals are met.
