What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Assistant General Manager position at Hilton Garden Inn?
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing the daily hotel operations to achieve planned financial goals for the property as well as operating within company and brand standards.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilites:
- Schedules front desk agents, and night auditors in accordance with occupancy forecasts.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all front desk agents, and night auditors in coordination with the General Manager.
- Familiar with Hilton computer systems (preferred)
- Computes bill, collects payment, and makes changes as required for guests.
- Uses suggestive selling skills and company sales programs to maximize revenue and occupancy levels.
- Reports all necessary reporting procedures in documenting guest requests.
- Handles accounting of money, receipts, guest accounts and credit through operation of the Front Desk computer system and completion of reports required to ensure company funds are secure.
- Handles guest questions and comments in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Responsible for ordering kitchen supplies, food, and beverages for the dining area and market
- Management and Hospitality experience preferred
- Proficient Writing, Verbal, and Computer skills mandatory

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
