What Will I be Doing?
The Manager Brand Strategy Projects is responsible for supporting and implementing a comprehensive brand strategy and vision for Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). This role requires a strong consumer orientation, passion for HGV’s brand and with a track record of building new ways of working, solving problems, and working with cross-functional teams. The brand strategy will be aligned with the company’s overall financial and strategic growth goals as outlined in HGV’s 5-year plan.
This role coordinates and works with all operating groups and support teams to ensure brand cohesion and activation company-wide and has the opportunity to create Member-centric, relevant, and memorable strategies to engage all our constituents and make HGV stand out in the crowd. Success in this role will be measured by managing projects aligned out of our 5-year plan, brand awareness metrics, with goals to increase brand loyalty and visibility.
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Manages brand growth, enhances brand equity, and ensures brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Assists in the development of the company’s brand strategy in concert with operations, sales, marketing and support departments. This includes stewardship of brand architecture and nomenclature, brand positioning and competitive differentiation, brand messaging, corporate visual identity, brand research and analytics, and brand approvals for new projects.
- Tracks progress against goals and accountable to budget guidelines
- Aligned with VP, partner with external agency(ies) to conduct brand audits, including current brand state, competitive landscape, consumer research, verbal/visual/digital audit, evaluation of brand architecture, competitive landscape, use of corporate brand versus property and sub-brands, overall review of operations (resort, marketing, sales) from a brand perspective, consumer research.
- Works collaboratively with HGV’s Creative teams to ensure brand vision is carried out in design and execution of copywriting and design.
- Assists in research for new brand platforms, story, personalities, promise and Mission, Vision, Values.
- Refreshes visual identity as needed and determined by research, business input and timing.
- Supports strategies and activations to enhance the company’s public images and coordinate with appropriate team to execute against these (may include Marketing, Sales, Resorts, Partnerships etc.).
- Embraces projects outside of the defined role with a strong work ethic and adaptability towards change rooted in an entrepreneurial, strategic and creative mindset.

- Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- 3-5 years experience
- Experience working within a creative agency setting and/or running a creative team at agency or in-house
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally and within operating departments
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple demands, while prioritizing responsibilities
- Writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience working with and presenting to executives
In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:
- Experience in the timeshare and/or hospitality industry whether in-house or agency
- Knowledgeable in areas of innovation and new technologies
