Position Summary:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python and Databricks, including Unity Catalog, Workflows, and ML Flow.
• Create and refine features from raw data to improve the performance of machine learning models. This includes selecting, transforming, and constructing meaningful variables that enhance model accuracy and predictive power.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements and innovations.
• Ensure the robustness and scalability of AI models through rigorous testing and validation.
• Perform data mining and analysis using state-of-the-art methods to uncover insights and trends.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Design and develop new algorithms to support inventory management and pricing activities.
• Develop analytical models to support strategic management decision-making.
• Maintain and enhance existing models.
• Work on ad-hoc analysis and handle data requests from business stakeholders.
• Provide support for existing analytical processes and meet stakeholders' service expectations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of code and processes.
• Prepare presentations and summaries around findings and implications of analysis to present to business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience applying AI/ML/DL methods and algorithms across various business functions.
• Skilled in model optimization, evaluation, and selection techniques.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Experience with machine learning platforms (e.g., Databricks, SageMaker, Azure ML).

• Proficient in machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, XGBoost) and algorithms.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics and tools for data analysis (e.g., numpy, pandas, Matplotlib, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, including complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, and analytical functions.
• Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and techniques, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and topic modeling.
• Experience with pretrained NLP models such as BERT, RoBERTa, and ELMo.
• Proven ability to communicate technical business requirements to non-technical end users.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• 3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of related experience
• Data Science, Analytics, or Operations experience in a corporate business function such as sales, marketing, finance, or IT.
• Experience with PowerBI development.
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) models and their APIs, such as GPT, Claude, and Gemini.
