Job Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Recreation/Activities Director to join our team at the Stonewater Cove Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing guest activity programs, pool activities, and group recreation/leisure activities. You will work closely with our recreation team to develop and deliver innovative programs that meet the needs of our diverse guest base.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recreation programs that cater to different age groups and interests
- Supervise and train recreation staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent service
- Collaborate with other resort departments to plan and execute special events and functions
- Conduct regular evaluations of program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to improve participation and guest satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recreation or hospitality management
- 3-5 years related experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and tolerate varying temperatures
