The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports and spreadsheets of statistics relating to revenue management, maintains records of on-line inventories, revenue, and ADR, and recognizes and analyzes trends in Hilton and HGVC systems. Assists Regional Revenue Manager, Revenue Manager, and Senior Revenue Analyst in providing accurate data to assist in determining appropriate rates and in achieving maximum occupancy levels for its properties
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports and statistics relating to resorts occupancies, rates, and forecasts Creates and maintains reports as instructed by Revenue Manager, Regional Revenue Manager, & Senior Regional Revenue Manager
- Updates and maintains room type and inventory in OnQ Rate and Inventory system as well as other Hilton systems. Monitors and ensures rate integrity between Hilton.com and other distribution channels.
- Controls and balances inventory in wholesale and on-line maintenance systems including Expedia.com, in a timely manner. Recognizes potential for increased rental revenue and recommends or takes appropriate action to realize increased rental revenue.
- Maintains capacity and length of stay controls in all distribution channels. Maintains and monitors group inventory and activity.
- Reviews group cut-off dates to ensure group blocks are released and returned to inventory in a timely manner.
- Answer phone calls if needed over high volume of calls to help reservations agents Assist with emails to rental reservations inbox
- Builds groups Clear waitlists in VOICE as needed. Assist with on-boarding new properties by completing rate code set up and bill rules for all applicable SRP's, assist Revenue Manager with setting SRP Groups and Inventory Rate Levels for each SRP, and other functions.
- Books reservations for guests and informs them of all services provided at the properties. Cross-trained in group coordinator duties to assist as needed.
- Assists front desk agents with selling, upgrading, and understanding rate quoting
- Assists accounting department with required documents to ensure timely billings and payment of commission
- Performs other tasks and special projects as requested by Regional Revenue Manager, Sr. Regional Revenue Mgr, and Sr. Director of Revenue Management
To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience of related experience
- Computer experience required with knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
