What Will I be Doing?
The Senior Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis will provide analytical support to the Financial Planning & Analysis team at HGV. The candidate will provide support and analysis for the FP&A Consolidations team, including the Global P&L, Cash Flow, Portfolio Operations and Cost of Product / 10 year plan forecasts, budgets and variance analysis. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be involved in ad-hoc analysis as required and will participate in the creation of monthly reporting packages, quarterly business reviews, and annual budget presentations. The candidate will manage the forecast and budget calendars in conjunction with FP&A leadership. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high visibility role with consistent exposure to Senior Leadership. Strong communication skills and a background in a Consolidations role for a multi-segment company (SEC Reporting, FP&A Consolidations, etc.) are a must.
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards :
Support the Director, FP&A in preparation of the consolidated P&L forecast and budget including variance analysis
Support the Director, FP&A in preparation of external industry surveys
Support the Manager, FP&A in preparation and analysis of the cash flow, balance sheet, capital expenditure and inventory spend forecast and budget as applicable
Support the Director, FP&A in preparation of the quarterly Cost of Product / 10 year plan process
Assist the Consolidations team in the business partner support function for the Portfolio Finance team
Work with business partners for information gathering, variance analysis, and reporting

What Are We Looking For :
To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field
3-5 years of related experience in finance / accounting in a multi-segment consolidations role required (SEC Reporting, FP&A Consolidations)
Excellent analytical skills and strong Excel financial modeling capabilities
Strong oral and written communication skills required for working with all levels of management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required, with expert use of Excel
Financial statement knowledge and an understanding of GAAP is required
Prior large company EPM system experience required
Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements for sensitive projects is a must

MBA / CPA / CFA or in process
Timeshare / Hospitality experience
Oracle EPM and SmartView experience
Static pool and securitization analytics
Public company indirect cash flows
