Description of the role
The Banquet Server at Hilton Mystic is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests at various banquet events. This includes setting up and breaking down event spaces, serving food and beverages to guests, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.
Responsibilities
- Assist in set up of banquet event spaces according to the provided floor plan and specifications
- Assist with the preparation and service of food and beverages
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests' tables
- Clean and maintain event spaces before, during, and after each event
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with food and beverage handling practices and regulations
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
