Our award winning Hilton hotel is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic hospitality professional to join our team. The hotel controller position at the Hilton Scranton is a full time position handling all aspects of managing a hotel accounting department. Exceptional leadership and customer service skills are required. Qualified candidate will posses the following skills..
- Responsible for all cash management of the hotel property, to include, but not limited to, daily deposits, departmental budget, process of change orders, petty cash, bank deposits, tax reporting, licenses, tax exemptions, insuring all contracts and billing privileges are being updated and maintained.
- Payroll, Accounts payable and receivable: all aspects of purchasing and invoice maintenance, weekly aging and payment requests, insuring team members are utilizing approved purchasing standards, monitoring credit card balances, maintain city ledger accounts, daily posting of account receivable and maintenance of QuickBooks.
