Role Description
This is a full-time seasonal on-site role from May-October, for a Lifeguard located in Ocean City, MD. Daily tasks include monitoring swimming areas, ensuring guest safety, enforcing rules, performing rescues, and providing first aid as needed. The Lifeguard will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pool area.
Qualifications
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety
- Ability to perform rescues and administer first aid and CPR
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to enforce safety rules
- Physical fitness and stamina
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., lifeguard certification, CPR certification) is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Experience working in a resort or hospitality environment is a plus
